The weather around here has been crazy lately, but it is typical for Memphis I guess! We have learned to take advantage of the nice days and get the kids outside every moment we can. They love playing outside and it keeps them occupied for a bit (win, win situation, right?!!). Saturday we seized the moment and played out front for a while. Bailey "rode" her bike, got to pet dogs that were walking by, and cleaned up our driveway as always. Banks hung out in his little walker and just took in the fresh air.
Side note: Bailey only lets me put her hair in a ponytail when we're going outside to play. I love it pulled back, but she normally won't let me touch her hair.
"Look, a plane"..."I get it" (That's the famous Bailey quote every time she sees a plane, as she reaches up to the sky like she's actually going to pull it down)
Here she was saying "shampoo"...let me clarify...we asked Bailey to say shampoo, but her translation is a bit more R rated...she somehow translates it into "s**tpoop"
One Saturday morning right after we got up, we turned on cartoons for Bailey as we were making coffee and stuff. We walked in the den and found her like this...
Legs crossed, arm resting on pillow, sipping her "coffee", listening to her music, and watching cartoons...what a life! She sure does think she's grown up sometimes!
