We decided to take the kids to the Germantown fireworks this 4th of July. It doesn't start until after 9, so in the past it has seemed to be more trouble than it's worth, but this year we figured they were old enough to hang in there and stay awake late! We had to get there a few hours early to reserve a spot...luckily it was in the Kroger parking lot, so we were able to get some snacks and cool off while we waited. Both sets of grandparents met up with us to enjoy the show! The kids enjoyed watching the fireworks (although it was VERY hot out)! We snapped a few cute pictures before we left!
