Our second favorite time of the year is almost here (the first being Christmas season, of course)! The cool weather, starting fires, eating chili, and FOOTBALL!!! Football has started, but the other things we look forward to about the fall/winter season are still a while away it seems. It's kind of hard to snuggle in front of a fire and eat a bowl of chili when it's 90 degrees outside. The first Nebraska game was last Saturday, and Gigi had graciously sent all the kiddos outfits to wear to cheer for the Huskers! They looked adorable, and we tried to get some pictures of them. Needless to say, it's not the easiest thing in the world to get 5 kids/babies to sit on a couch and smile all at the same time. We gave it our best effort though, and we'll keep working on it throughout the football season.
What a sweetheart! She put on her outfit, looked down, and said "pretty" as she twirled around...such a little girl!
Like I said, you do your best, and take what you can get! By the way Steph, I'm thinking you might be able to work a little magic with some photoshop...surely between my pictures and yours you can create a masterpiece, right?!!!
In case you haven't noticed, Banks is not very happy in any of these. He had just woken up from a little cat nap, and we set him on the couch and told him to smile immediately...nobody wants to wake up to that! The picture above is how most of them turned out...everyone looking different ways and pretty much doing their own thing. Oh well!
